John D. Lund (President)
John D. Lund hails from the dark recesses of British Columbia where tourist migrate on an annual basis.  He is a corporate archivist at the City of Ottawa Archives specializing in electronic records.

John’s previous positions, include, Collections Management Archivist, City of Red Deer, and Visual Records Archivist, Provincial Archives of Alberta.  John has provided workshops on born digital and traditional photographs at the provincial/national level.  He has presented papers on visual records and digitization at ACA conferences and has provided peer review for Archivaria. Outside of the nine to five John is a photographer, writer and general punk.

Candace Vanskiver (Vice-President)
Four year AAO member and a native of Ontario, Candace has lived in both the extreme rural and urban spaces of the province. She is currently an Assistant Archivist at the City of Ottawa Archives who is focused on inventory control. 

Candace has five years of archives experience and also holds diplomas for Applied Museum Studies (Algonquin College); Bachelor of Art History and Sociology (Carleton University); Gas Certificate (Canadore College); and she has completed the Archives and Records Management program at Algonquin College.

While applying her skills to support her strong interest in culture and history, Candace is also extremely adept with modern social media.     

Theresa Sorel ( Treasurer)
Theresa Sorel has been Treasurer of the Eastern Chapter of the Archives Association of Ontario since 2006.  A native of Nova Scotia, Theresa holds an Honours B.A. in History from St. Francis Xavier University and an M. A. in History (Scottish Studies) from University of Guelph, as well as a certificate in Museum Management and Curatorship from Sir Sandford Fleming College.  She’s worked at several archives, art galleries and museums in Peterborough, Toronto and Ottawa and is currently the Special Media and Exhibitions Archivist at the City of Ottawa Archives.


Dalton Campbell ( Member-at-Large, Acting Secretary)
Dalton holds a Master of Information Studies from the University of Toronto. Prior to his arrival in Ottawa, he worked for a regulatory body in Toronto and developed his expertise and knowledge with a short stint at a community museum in northern Canada. Duncan now applies his skills at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.

Jacinda Bain ( Member-at-Large)
