Hello AAO East/Est Members,
 
The City of Ottawa Archives will be a regional host for the Canadian Archives Summit: Towards a New Blueprint for Canada’s Recorded Memory.  The AAO-Ee encourages all of its members to take this opportunity to have their say on the future of archives in Canada. 
 
The Summit will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 8:00am to 5:00pm.  The City of Ottawa Archives will have two rooms for live streaming of the event.  There will be the opportunity to discuss the papers and presentations. Summaries of the discussions will be made and returned as feedback to the Summit.
 
The City of Ottawa Archives is located at 100 Tallwood Drive.  Room 115 (capacity 60) will provide the opportunity of discussion in English, while room 226 (capacity 17) will provide the opportunity of discussion in French.
